Dr. Cuticchia has been publishing and editing books and articles in the scientific field since 1987.  Many of those books remain in print.  Here, he steps away from the technical and tells the story of a man in the midst of a mid-life crisis and his path to becoming a lawyer.

Though a work of fiction, the book is loosely based on the author's return to academics as a student, after being a professor for 20 years.

Genetics:  A Handbook for Lawyers 

A Best-selling book published by the American Bar Association, this is part of the ABA Fundamentals.  In this book, Dr. Cuticchia shows the legal community that there is much more to genetics than just DNA fingerprinting.  He tackles areas such as genetic discrimination, personal medicine, and many other topics.  While at times the book discusses the historical perspectives, it is written to be a resource for modern-day legal practitioners.  Well annotated and with numerous citations, this book should be on any litigator's shelf.

The book begins by laying out the fundamentals of the genetics so that no prior biological knoweldge is needed to understand this fascinating book.
